curriculum vitae/resume and a letter of
recommendation from the nominating
NASS member will be required and
can be uploaded on the website. Please

current NASS board members are not
eligible to receive Recognition Awards.
The Governance Committee will be
accepting nominations in the following
David Selby Award: This award is for
a NASS member who has contributed
greatly to the art and science of spine
care through service to NASS.
Henry Farfan Award: This award recognizes outstanding contributions in
spine-related basic science research.
Leon Wiltse Award: This award recognizes excellence in leadership and/or
clinical research in spine care.
Spine Advocacy Award: To recognize
members of the North American Spine
Society who have made exceptional
contributions to the federal advocacy
efforts on behalf of patients and members of the society.
All four recognition awards will be
presented at the NASS 32nd Annual Meeting, October 25-28, 2017, in
