NASS Continues Global
Commitment in 2018
Continuing its global effort to help patients defeat back
pain, NASS will partner with several spine organizations from around the world in 2018.
Kicking off the year, NASS will participate at the
4th ArabSpine Annual Meeting, being held in Muscat,
Oman, February 22-24. Topics that will be covered
at this three-day meeting include Advances in Spine
Surgery, Minimally Invasive Spinal Techniques and
Complications Avoidance and Management.
April will see NASS return to the Middle East when
it takes part in the 10th Dubai Spine International
Conference. A delegation including NASS President
F. Todd Wetzel, Second Vice President Jeff Wang and
Board Members Eeric Truumees and Charles Reitman
will speak at this prestigious conference.
NASS will host three one-day cadaver workshops
from April 30-May 2 at Singapore General Hospital.
These workshops begin on April 30 with a course on
Advanced Ultrasound and Fluoroscopic Guided Lumbar Spinal Procedures. The following day, NASS will
host a one-day workshop on Percutaneous Endoscopic
Lumbar Discectomy and Endoscopic Techniques. On
May 2, the final course on Techniques in Complex
Spine Surgery will be held.
The following week, NASS will hold two courses
at the Parti Center, Huashan Hospital at Fudan University, Shanghai, China. On Thursday, May 10, the
first course on Advanced Ultrasound and Fluoro-scopic-Guided Lumbar Spinal Procedures. On May
11, there will be a course on Advanced Techniques in
Complex Spine Surgery.
On May 31, NASS will work in conjunction with
the Sociedad Española de Columna Vertebral on their
Annual Meeting premeeting course: Emerging Technologies for the Treatment of Lumbar Spine Pathology
in Avila, Spain.
In addition to these meetings and courses, NASS
will be a part of the following 2018 international conferences:
